At Least 3 Injured in Holmes County Accident on Highway 79
Holmes County, Florida (June 5, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred Saturday night at an intersection in Holmes County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the incident happened around 10:45 p.m. on June 3 on Highway 79 and County Road 160. 
Per the report, a male driver was going northbound on Highway 79 when he collided at an intersection with another car with three occupants.
The first car’s driver was seriously injured in the crash and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
Three occupants in the second car sustained injuries, the passenger and one passenger sustained minor injuries. All were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash closed Highway 79 for an unspecified time.
An investigation is ongoing.
