Pedestrians Dies in Walton County Crash on Clyde B. Wells Bridge
Walton County, Florida (June 5, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally injured by a car early Sunday morning on Clyde B. Wells Bridge in Walton County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:00 a.m. June 4 on Clyde B. Wells Bridge near Highway 331.
A female driver was going northbound on the bridge when she crashed into a man crossing the lanes in unclear circumstances.
The male pedestrian was declared deceased at the crash site.
The car’s driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The name of the deceased was not disclosed.
The northbound lanes on the bridge were shut down for several hours but were later reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
