Motorcyclist Dies in Brevard County Collision on Courtenay Parkway at Catalina Isle Drive
Brevard County, Florida (May 4, 2023) – A motorcycle rider was killed after being struck by two vehicles on Courtenay Parkway in Brevard County Wednesday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on May 3 on Courtenay Parkway at Catalina Isle Drive. 
A 22-year-old Merritt Island man was going north on Courtenay Parkway when a Dodge Challenger tried to turn into the southbound lanes from a parking lot and hit the motorcycle.
The man was thrown off the bike and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck in the southbound lanes.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the accident scene.
The name of the deceased was not disclosed.
A 45-year-old Palm Bay woman driving the Dodge and the 19-year-old Merritt Island man operating the pickup sustained no injuries in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
